Yard, Garden & Landscaping Tool Rentals

A&A is your go-to source for yard and garden equipment rentals in the Alexandria, NOVA, and the Washington DC metro area. Whether you’re needing to do basic yard work or you’re tackling a bigger project – we have the landscaping tools to help you get the job done no matter the size. We carry the widest variety of lawn and garden equipment in the area so you can use the right tool.

It’s finally Fall! – This is the time of year that is crucial for setting up your yard to be fantastic this summer. In our area we have heavy clay soil. This can get so compacted that the grass roots have a hard time growing. It is important to AERATE the soil so the roots can easily branch out and the grass can have a healthy base. Fall’s soft soil makes this time of year perfect to aerate. It takes less time to aerate a yard than it does to mow. THATCHING is also important because if the top of the grass has a layer of dead grass on it then any seed that is put on the lawn won’t root in the soil but in this thatch layer. Once the thatch is removed then when you put fertilizer and seed down, it goes where you want it – the soil where it can grow and thrive. We also carry VERTICUTTERS so you can make thin slits into the dirt and your grass seed can end up in the soil where you want it. Our VERTICUTTERS have an OVERSEEDER on them as well so you can drop the seed in as you use the verticutter. Fall is also the time to use a TILLER. All of our tillers are new this year – we went all out and replaced our fleet!

Delivery service is available for all yard & garden rentals. We’ll bring the equipment to you so you can focus on the work at hand. So the next time you’re faced with a yard project of any scope, you’ll have what you need for a successful project. If you are not sure what equipment to use please ask us, we will be happy to discuss the options with you. Don’t forget that we also carry ramps and if you would like to use one to help load/unload equipment we send them out for a small charge.
